At Maraba we have successfully completed our income generation project (an Internet Café) which is already providing an income to help Maraba VTC with their running costs and will help them continue to develop post project implementation. We have also provided a wood store to save them money and further help with income generation.

Our aim to increase the capacity for more students to learn skills is already being realised by providing tools, equipment and furniture as well as two new classrooms.

Our assistance has already ensured that long-term students will now obtain certification for their studies and the centre is one of only a few chosen to train students on a newly implemented short course programme thereby allowing many more girls the opportunity the learn sewing. They will be able to use their skills and earn money to support themselves, their families and the local and national economy.
